Pull up a chair and grab a brew kids, let me tell you about how using Dervtech has been one of the best experiences I've had in my cars journey!

I went in with a previously "tuned" JCW that didn't feel quite right(the Transit keeping pace with me on the M6 was kind of a hint...). The guys put my car on the Dyno and tested it showing me it had been tuned by +14bhp(that's one entire extra moped worth of beans my car was running!) with no additional alterations to any of the ECU or limitations. Chris reverted my car back to stock and ran the Dyno again, talking me through everything he was doing, how each statistic and setting effects different aspects of the car and talked me through all the alterations he planned to make(by "Chris talked" I actually mean "I pestered for info" and Chris was more than happy to give it to me, he's passionate about his work). Chris wrote a map for my car on the Dyno, again talking me through every aspect and ended up producing a map that showed gains of +67bhp and around +95nm torque.

Dervtech turned my mid range, nippy Mini in to a legitimate 301bhp hot hatch in a couple of hours!(I tried in vain to find that Transit van on the way home to show him who's boss now, but I couldn't find him... If you're out there Transit man, come at me!)

"Urrrgh so you just sat waffling about numbers and gains for a a couple of hours?" I hear you ask... well no actually, I didn't just sit there listening to statistics for a couple of hours, all the guys in that garage were great to be around, they introduced me to different car groups, talked me through their plans to create a track car, told stories and showed videos of their past and present vehicles and generally just talked about everyday life, friends, plans and experiences.

They're 3 top blokes in that garage, they just happen to be 3 top blokes who are the best tuners I've ever experienced! Go and see them, trust them, let them do their thing and you'll be driving back home with the biggest ear-to-ear grin smeared across your face just like I was.

100% the best tuner I've ever been too. Was well worth the 2.5 hour drive out to get my Insignia running how it should of been! Spent hours fine tuning the tiniest details. Knows everything there is about cars and tuning. This guy is relentless! Can't thank you enough Chris! Will see you in the new year.

I Brought my Peugeot 308 GT in for an AdBlue issue and these guys fixed it 20 mins on the spot!

For context, other garages said it either “wasn’t possible” or “they can’t do it”….

Had my Map revisited last week with Chris at Dervtech due to fitting a new turbo. First map was at the unit in Stockport on the dyno and I was very happy with what figures I came out with and the car was amazing. This time no dyno and met at a mutually convenient place. A completely different tuning experience, I would say a better tuning experience! I felt completely part of the process with Chris talking me through all the way, first we went on a run to do a bit of logging (me driving and Chris plugged into the car) went back for Chris to play with the map, a couple more runs out and every little blip ironed out I now have a car that is truly amazing to drive and blisteringly quick! Ok I haven’t got a dyno print out for my figures this time but in all honesty I don’t care because I know the car feels a lot faster and when curiosity gets the better of me I’ll pop along to my local dyno and see what it’s doing not that it will matter.

After experiencing both dyno tuning and road tuning I think I’d definitely go with road tuning again because the way the car drives now is spectacular!

I had my track prepared Mini R56 JCW mapped by Chris at Dervtech following a forged engine build.

All I can say is the service I received has been excellent.

Chris took his time to first check all was well with the car, then after confirming all was good he set about a custom map, taking into account my use case, which was not for headline power and torque figures but a map that would not max out components and generate too much heat at track days.

Also, what was key for me was a torque delivery that would not suddenly overwhelm traction (in the dry) given the relatively narrow tyres these cars are typically limited to using due to clearance.

All I can say is Chris hit the brief spot on…

3 track days in and the car has been amazing, great power and torque delivery and no problem with temps, even in some of the warmer days we’ve had.

Chris followed up to ensure I was happy and offered to make a few map adjustments, based on my feedback relating to my preferred throttle sensitivity. It was great to see that Chris genuinely cared about my satisfaction with his work.

Based on my experience, I can thoroughly recommend Dervtech. Whether you have a Mini, BMW, or any other brand, it’s worth a chat with the team there to see what they can do for your car.

Had my BMW E90 330d in for a remap an XHP map on the gearbox, superb lads an the car dose exactly what they said over the moon with how it drives now, would recommend an will be back in the future spot on.

Second time Ive used this company in just under 2 and a half years. First time was my mk6 GTTDI went from 140 bhp to 205 bhp. This time I took my MK7 GTD in for the full works It made 187 BHP and 280 ft/lb on first run standard but after the cat/dpf and egr delete she made a whopping 246 bhp and 378 ft/lb the difference is unreal. Customer support is spot on Had a knowledge of info from chris the tuner and Matt the mechanic is a right good laugh.. Couldnt recommend them any higher brilliant.

I was looking to get my mini JCW remapped up in Glasgow and done a bit of online googling. I heard several good things about DervTech on social media and even tho it was a 4 hour drive down I was not disappointed.

I was shown that my car was running under performance by simply using in cheap fuel, it was making 214 bhp and once I refuelled my car the dervtech team got to work with the stage 1 remap and also a gearbox remap.

After some dyno runs and some fixing on the laptop, the team were able to get 310 bhp from a single remap, numbers which I was even surprised about.

My drive home was unbelievable and it feels like I have brand new car. I can’t thank the dervtech team enough for all the hardwork and useful information I was given about my car.

A year ago, I took my Peugeot 208 GTi to Dervtech to get it remapped, and man, what a difference it's made! Before the remap, I’d already added some stuff to my car like a GFB valve, a big intercooler, got rid of the cat, and put in a tougher clutch. I was hoping for a big change, and I wasn’t disappointed.

I met up with Chris from Dervtech, and straight away, it was clear he knew his stuff. We didn't just drop the car off and wait; it was way more hands-on. Chris hooked up his gear to my car, and then we hit the road together to see how the car did. After each run, he’d tweak the map a bit and then we’d go out again to see how it felt. By the end of it, the car was just flying – the torque was insane!

Having this map on the car for a year has been awesome. Every time I step on the gas, the car just goes – no waiting around, just straight-up power, all the way through. Plus, with the limited slip diff, it just grips and goes on the twisty roads, leaving most cars wondering.

Honestly, taking my car to Dervtech was one of the best things I’ve done for it. Chris was top-notch, and the difference in how my car drives now compared to before is like night and day. Every time I drive, it just makes me happy.

I had nothing but a professional and friendly experience with DervTech. Initially all correspondence for quotes and discussion regarding options was done through Emily. All responses were prompt, I couldn’t ask too many questions and up to the point of booking in, it was super easy.

During my visit to the workshop, I met Chris, Ben and Charlie, what a great bunch of guys, I don’t know much about cars and my Mini is my pride and joy, travelling over I was anxious but these guys are super chill, so very knowledgable and conscientious.

I needed to be away within 4 hours and I hadn’t told them of this until I got there (last minute childcare issues) and they were fully accommodating, no drama. It’s not often from start to finish that you find such a friendly and hard working team.

I look forward to returning at some point for another tweak here and there.

Huge thanks to Chris for mapping my F56 Mini today.. car feels absolutely mint! Had plenty cars remapped in the past, but first time using Dervtech and genuinely would not use anyone else from now on. Completely new experience being involved in the process too, but that made it so better, especially having each bit explained as he was doing it. Thanks again.

I have had a very long journey today to have my Mercedes C250 diesel to be tuned by dervtech I leave in Kent and I have traveled all the way to Dervtech to get my car mapped and I was 2 hours early for my booking but Chris has took me in and started early and he has done he’s best even I had a unknown problem that nobody including Merecedes main dealer couldn’t find and after all Chris made it worked and find the problem and worked rounded and I am over the moon with the result and now going to fix the problems I got and go back to get more power! 

I would like to thank Chris and he’s other best workers and highly recommend this tuning company!!!

Can’t recommend DervTech enough, i’ve made the 4 hour trip to them 3 times now and each time they’ve been really open and honest.

The first time there was an issue with my coil packs and they advised me against tuning it as it could cause damage, went back the second time and everything was good, saw great results and was a massive improvement over stock.

Went back yesterday for Stage 2 after adding an intercooler and they basically told me it’s not really worth it to send any more power through it and i should save my money as it was running really happy at the power it was and it wouldn’t of gained much.

They did still adjust the tune and ended up gaining a bit of torque and the delivery feels better now with more to give at the top of the rev range with the intercooler on. I also got coldstart coded out and extra overrrun in sport so was still very much worth the trip.

2 Times they could have easily took more money off me like a lot of places would’ve done but they were honest the full time and told me what was best to do.

Nowhere else i’d trust to tune my car now.

Really knowledgeable, trustworthy people and not a bad word to say about my experience with them.

I’ve followed this page for a while and have always been amazed with the amount of power they extract from cars. I decided to take my Abarth 595 1.4l turbo to be tuned by DervTech and I was not disappointed. I had added some mods to the engine that needed bringing together. We started at 145hp & 200nm Torque and ended up with a whopping 221hp & 329nm Torque. The car pulls like a train and drives amazing! This isn’t just a generic tune. A lot of time, effort, knowledge and dyno runs were needed to achieve these figures.

Took my Seat here as my average MPG wasn’t great and I also wanted abit more power. They advised me of what power gains I was looking at and also was realistic with my over my MPG. They also health checked the car prior to the re map so we knew the DPF was fine and there was no other issues. Will defo be recommending to friends and using them again in the future for any tuning needs. Over the moon.
